One of my favs on the new recordings...
During the last few years, I've had to (out of good conscience) address the current malaise in this country with what I call "Songs of Challenge."

Call them hymns of encouragement to myself...and anyone who's able to hear it; I write & sing mostly for my own beleaguered spirit; Songs that are slightly forged with a dream-like nuance, rather than some heavy-handed, "protest song..."

On a goodly number of songs on these albums; I've allowed some extended space for "the band" to rock the outro.
This one is no exception...
