So "the first thing that you'll notice" is that this version has more lyrics.
Some I used and some I left alone.
"Orphan words," I call them.
Oh, they usually come round to the back door of another song and make a big entry somewhere else.
Musical ecology here. Waste not/want not.
Musically, this is one of those high desert songs where I wanted the "twang" & swing preserved.
