about

This "live" album is the most definitive recorded musical statement Muriah & I have done as a duo. These are songs about addiction, road loneliness, broken faiths, betrayals, post traumatic-stress, Jesus postmen, Incarnate Gods, broken dreams, stars of mercy and hope, "failed' artists and more...it's all here. ("Neon Passes Through" is a brand new studio bonus track included here.)

Recorded live in a single show, i believe it captures a certain elegant, folk- minimalism we've placed in the new songs and imbued the older tunes with.

Lastly, Humble thanks to all who have encouraged with their own stories of heartland & grieving. You have led us by example.
pax,
bill & Muriah

Track Name: Neon Passes Through
At first it felt like a light in my eyes
and a question i didn't know the answer to
and me being of such a tender age
i told 'em everything i knew

i learned early on there were ghosts in the room
and ghosts you will meet on the way
never dismiss a spirit of kiss
you're gonna need them one day

chorus:
And you shine cause you can still muster a spark
blind your eyes, cauterize your heart
here's a lil' something i'd like to give to you
Skin gets thin when the neon passes through

all this time to kill; all these moments to embrace
all these wastelands to fill...with a smile on your face
and me just wanting to be understood
i bled every drop i could.

make world you can believe in; make a world you can kiss
let it slip right through your fingers or smash it with your fist.
at first it felt like a light in my eyes
you learn to tell the truth
...and you learn to lie
